I think that is exactly how I would describe ours. There isn't really any rain but it certainly has a dampness around, it 'asn't stopped the little 'un from going out though. Our 'guests did not make a return visit, I expect the farmer has but them on strict lockdown, after all who would like to lose their lovingly prepared Christmas dinner? I slept the sleep of the dead till about 4AM then lay awake for 2 hours.
Aching all over from yesterday, but pleased with the progress.
Off we go again today and I expect to have all 4 walls up and the floor in and roof on.
Seems a long time since we heard that!Wickes has gotted a supply of me bricklaying sand in locally. Nipped down there this morning and got stocked up, plus a couple of extra bags of sea ment.
Normal working will be resumed tomorrow (lay a few bricks and knock off for the day) weather permitting .
