damb and blast,no stealers near to me ,20mls one way 28 tother ,and on me bump stops an all;;;;bugger,,,,,,,,cheers data,,,,dave

Download the free EAS Unlock suite from RSWsolutions if you have a laptop, buy a cable and you can read and reset the faults yourself. The other option is an EAS kicker from Black Box Solutions, cost you less than going to a dealer and you will always have it with you for next time:D

EVENING DATA theres been some developments;sun night pumped up air tank, put sus on full height ok .
mon still up,mon night still up did'nt touch it.
tues am still up,went out came back 5ish ;back still up front on bump stops,,,bugger now i know that points to airbag leak but we fittednew ones friday,we checked for leaks on bags, valve block even the air drier,,no leaks

this am i rang a chap @ a kicker he recommended a "kicker light",you plug it in and it resets everything ok as far as it goes but it does not read codes or do any diagnostics, now i think this is counterproductive ,i want to know whats up with it so i can fix it "hopefully"

could you let me know your opinion !

i must admit im getting p***ed of with this p38 and this poxy laptop that wont post without going offline,im seriously consiser binning the pair of em [before they give me a heart attack or something]

hellsfire i might even buy a slitty ffs:doh:,,,,dave

If it stays up overnight it's not an airbag leaking, especially as they are new.
Buy yourself an EAS Kicker from Black Box Solutions, the version that reads the faults and clears them. No faults on the dash? I'm inclined to think you have a pump problem or more likely the driver pack is playing up.

ERR driver pack whats that mate?? the pump is brand new not refurbished ,,fill the air tank first and the suspension shoots up,both ends,,,,dave

So if the pump and airbags are new and you have no leaks, it can only be the driver pack, located on the side of the solenoid block, the solenoid block itself, or maybe a height sensor. Or bad connections which the P38 seems to suffer more than it's fair share.

Dave check the airlines where they go in to the airbags. As the metal collets bite in to the plastic tube they deform a little over time (both collet and tube) and the o-rings inside the collet can also start to flatten. Yank the tube out a couple of times (such as when changing a bag) and they no longer seal. you might need to cut back the tube a little, you might need a new collet or new o-rings inside. Next check all the pipes running in and out of the EAS box AND the base of the air exhaust. Little hidden leaks in any of these places often missed by a hurried soap/water test. Infact don't mix any water, just use dishwashing liquid straight. If it ain't foamy the bubbles are easier to spot. All this is fiddly stuff but not too difficult, nor expensive. Good luck!

CHEERS RASHEED we did the soapy water test after we fitted the new airbags, checked the valve block,we even checked the air drier ,nothing
i like your idea about no water just detergent ill give it a go tomorrow thanks

ive been out to it tonight filled airtank, shot up to height when i shut the door, went for a trundle round first set of traffic lights the front end flopped to the bump stops,,,,,pulled up filled tank, closed door back up again, next lights same again, aaarrrgggggghhhh

went home ,tried to make it do it again no luck, bollocks to it ,shut door ,locked it with fob ,it dropped to the bump stops with a flop,,,,grrrrrrr

im beginning to think like B O B " burn it,,,,dave ive had it for tonight tomorrow is another fustrating day,,,,,,dave

have you changed the inlet and exhaust filters in he compressor and valve block? These pesky things can confuse the air pressures. As above get the cable and download software and read the faults.

SORRY about not replying folks,,,been out all day, havent touched the motor today[babysitting ho ho ho],as suggested im going to invest in a cable & software and give it a go[cheap + nothing to lose] also as suggested im going to unplug the cables and give em a good clean over the weekend, its worth a try
i had a day of today to help keep me sane +im going crow shooting tomorrow .

relaxation aahhhhh ill look at it fresh on saturday .....cool ...calm...collect......cos at the minute i wanna,,,,BURN IT,,,,,thanks for all the help, will post with the results,,,dave
