lol it will be few set backs recently the missus is saying get rid as it costs too much money. But I told her anymore talk like that and I would buy her a ford

I will take the back roads a flask of tea and just take it very sensibly I know most of the pot holes round here
 
They all talk like that. They don't like to see money that could be spent on them going on a car. :)
 
If the prop has come off and been wobbling around like a Whippets dick odds on it has damaged the selector linkage. And anything else it came into contact with. It needs a serious coat of looking at. :D:D

My mechanic is still off but not getting a fault yet on the dash. I have found one (a mechanic) in Whitecroft which does the P38 I need an 8 day week though as the alternator died on the Golf yesterday due to water so have that as well but hope to get mine in next weekend

I am able to drive around in drive perfectly well it just needs sorting before coming an issue

But I couldnt do anything till I sorted the bump stops
