Hi peeps, I finally did it and got myself a 03 td6 Vouge. 113k, recon gearbox 15 months ago and a very detailed service history. Drives well, great nick for the year, well impressed.
Only gripe at the moment is that the red airbag light is on. I'm sure it wasn't when I test drove it. I contacted the seller and he said it happened to him on a couple of occasions but reset itself !!!
Any ideas, is it ok to drive ?

It's an MOT failure if it stays on for sure. Try someone who can plug in and clear the faults and diagnose the problem if there is one.

Buy yourself an Allcomms, you will need it

There don't seem to be many Rangie owners on here from around Bristol, P38 or L322.
I don't know if Taximan down in Weston bit the bullet and got himself an Allcoms, he was certainly going through the wars with his L322. Haven't seen much of him on here recently, maybe he's had an accidental fire in his barn with both Rangies trapped inside?

I'll try a PM and see if I get a response.

Also to note... If the light is on then the whole air bag system is disabled
So don't crash ! Lol

still fails & bodge/dangerous, all lights must illuminate cant see a mot tester falling for that one & if he lets it go he needs striking off

I understood that this had to light when you turned the ignition on then turn off when the engine started otherwise it is an MOT failure?

Steve Hill is a LR specialist in Brislington (near the retail park). It costs c.£60-80 (cant remember exactly) to get him to read codes adn poss fix.

Was the main drivers Air bag Not a common failing point on the L322?

Other Landy Independents are available in Bristol.
