Did you check the lift pump was still pushing a decent amount out?
As long as your passport is current.
I'm more worried about how much of car will be left to drive back.

Not yet I cannot find the measuring container. It’s drove alright since but popped turbo pipe off this morning. They are delaminating

just wanted to update this thread, shes back running. issue was the BCM module had got wet. bought a replacement off ebay and off she goes again. its been sitting for oven a year, bit of smoke and she ran first try. bit of maintenance to do on her and she'll be good as new.

Try looking at the loom that is located in the passenger footwell, there are several really dubious 'factory connections' that depended on the extras selected. Strongly suggest resplicing questionable or crusty connections, better still use proper male and female connectors and crimp them really well! I discovered this when fixing our passenger electric window, it turned out not to be the cause of the window problem but it DID FIX my faulty rear windsreen washer!

Great that it’s fixed. Keep eye on left side of boot as water gets in the navigation modules and that sends audio, screen, even lights crazy, mine lost radio, screen went crackly and wouldn’t respond then no indicators, instruments went a bit odd etc, plug on back of navigation unit had got wet, unplugged and all back, got home dried it all out and all ok since but found under the roof trim the sealant had a hairline crack in allowing water down the pillar and cables right into the module.
Time to pack the joins and grommets with vaseline or silicone ... choose wisely ...
