Now you see... that just takes the ****... Its 2010 not 1910 and we don't have LPG.

That's why I got rid of my LPG and went black fuel.... Now I can't find Bio anywhere local.

Just brought some more today from same garage as in orginal post, and its gone up to 75.9p!!!! They said its because of the weather!! Bet it dont go down again though!!!

75.9p in the shell in Basingrad this afternoon! Profiteering bastids. I'm not paying that!

Now I got no gas!

Grr. Can one use domestic lpg in a car? Might be worth it at this rate!

I understand that you can do yes... but no idea how you get it from the calogas canister to your lpg tank at home. Legally you'd have to decalre use and pay the IR for the road use duty:D

You need a gas pump:D I don't use the stuff but it's 0.68 €uro cents here:D

Hmm. Tempted to open my own lpg station. There aren't any within 10 miles of me.

And those aren't in the direction I usually go in anyway.

And they're all rip off artists.

And one of them was out of order yesterday when I drove 10 miles to get some.

Grr.

But unlike red diesel, they can't dip your tank and tell use are using duty free:D:):D:)

Thieves, the lot of em.

My blooming heating oil bill has just gone through the roof too.

You aint kidding, mine too. Got a nice wood burning cooker that also does the central central heating with the oil as back up. It's cut my oil consumption from 2,200 to less than 1,000 a year. Cut the electric bill too as it is used for all the cooking in winter. Wood is for nothing here.:D Not practical if you are out at work though.

66.9p Cheapest in Hereford (Shell).

Bloody ridiculous. Every time petrol goes up 1p, LPG goes up 3p. Getting to the point now if I wasn't already converted I probably wouldn't bother...

after stories of possible fuel shortages due to the snow - fuel around Basingstoke has just jumped to over £1.25 a litre

just found a local gas supply company that sells lpg from their yard, only 57p a litre and its only 5 miles away:D:D:D
