I am always struck by the longevity of the Series and Defender models and clearly a properly maintained Land Rover can be kept on the road for a very, very long time.
But what about their less-rugged Luxo-Barge cousins the P38's, L322's and the L405's?
I will start, my "W" reg. P38a 4.6 Vogue has a massive 13,290 on the clock.
My Previous P38 4.6 HSE was a "T" reg and left my employ with about 120K on the clock, so I am expecting to get a few more miles out of this one before it expires in an oily heap on my driveway.
You hear of the Luxury Mercedes of old (like my old 500SEL) making it to over 500K miles; is the Range Rover endowed with similar longevity I wonder?
