All original running gear with 111k on mine with the last 20k on really bad Ukraine and Russian roads but just had the head gaskets and associated bits done as preventative maintenance. Also for the last few years has sat parked up for 9-10 months at a time due to work but still starts first time every time. (except when the battery drain gremlin struck a few years back)

2001 4.6 Thor

currently on 142k on original running gear

Heads redone at 134k due to number 7 leak into the water jacket

Wow! My last one was on 120k but the new 2000 Vogue is only at 14k so hopefully plenty of life left in it.

Fantastic! Has it had any major engine rework at all in that time?

Shall we all try and guess?

I'm going to go for: head gaskets x 2, front timing cover and timing chain. New waterpumps x 3. 2 radiators. 4 EAS compressors. Do I go for a set of crankshaft bearings or pushrods and rockers? Oooo. No, I'll say he got away with it but need doing soon!

Yes! Original engine changed after 100k miles due to 'slipped liner' . New RPi engine fitted at same time as LPG by RPi. That lasted 60k miles at which point it put a conrod through the block. Current engine from MCT at Weston super Mare now on 130k miles and seems fine (touches wood).

That sounds more like it.

I'd be touching cloth after making a comment like that.
