My wife loves the landy.... Everytime she buys a tree at the garden center, needs a tip run or buys anything big or/and heavy and says "don't worry, we have a Landrover"

To be fair, she has driven it a few times but needs reminding it doesn't corner like a sports car...

I did have the kitchen door shut but I was also about half the distance between the wood burner and the thermostat :D. Opened the kitchen door now though so it'll start warming upstairs. Can't beat free heat but at this rate I'll use all my wood before the cold weather starts and have to put the heating on :p

I got in from work to find the heating on 35 degrees. She thinks it gets warmer quicker if she puts it that high. Both my lads had no tops on and were wet through with sweat... What's up with her?

You mean your little un had got bottoms on:p

Took my Mrs in my 90 tonight for the first time in a couple of years. She took a long look around and made a few comments about all the gauges, the leather seats and everything else she spotted in the short 5 minute journey. I managed to get away with it but I'm just trying to think of story to tell her when I pull up in a second 90 next week... I think she may notice there are two trucks and not just one... Hmm

My wife pretends to like the Landie I think, but there is always a big spider waiting to jump on her when she goes for a drive and although she claims she'd drive it, I don't believe her.

You need to hurry up and get your garage built cos you're gonna be living in it, might be warmer than being in with the chickens:eek:

Looks like you have your thermometer in the fridge, in which case, warm fridge!!
My Mrs loves driving the 90, although I did have to take the straight through off as it was a bit loud for her (I was secretly relieved, it was too loud....)

Heheh, our lass loves the Landy .. it gets me out from under her feet! She does come out occasionally, but she has Menieres disease (an imbalance in the inner ear) which makes it very uncomfortable for her when rocked, but steady lanes she's fine and enjoys being gate bitch. On long days it hurts too much so I go alone for most weekends away nowadays.

She also says she'll never, no matter how good I say it drives, drive it herself .. She drove my old Series 3 once, on a straight road and couldn't keep it straight so absolutely shat herself. Fine by me ... ;)

I'll gladly live in the garage haha. Not be long now I may even put it off until spring next year as th weather's gonna turn poop. We will see. Out in my 90 this Sat so let's see what gets destroyed

Very good, I'm out in mine next Saturday and Sunday but if I destroy anything it'll be me sleeping in with your chickens

We used our Discovery to go over Cannock Chase on their 4 x 4 days and my partner suggested we get a 90 rather than use the TD5 Dsico. Didn't take long to find one. And despite other projects, I seem to spend more time on the 90 and potter off down the road with a large German Shepherd and Husky. Makes me smile all the time.....and gets me even more waves and grins than riding my bike.

I didn't know that there were that many tracks on cannock chase I never seemed able to find many when I lived that way many years ago in my trusty old series three lightweight
