please can some one tell me how to re sync my key ??? ive just changed the batts in the fob tryed the EKA and no joy ,, im loosing the will to live

hi

i had this problem right after I got my car..

to re synch I found another site and followed this advice and it worked perfectly for me...

hold down the lock button on key fob, keep finger on it and insert into driver door, turn it fully right and hold for 3 secs then turn the key back and take out THEN take your finger off the lock button on key fob i think it bleeps

Yep. Just like Timewarp says. Put the key in the drivers door and as you turn the key press and hold the lock button. It's in the owners manual. I'll copy that page if you like.

when I changed the battery on my '96 p38dt I lost the code on my 'blipper' and I had 'timed out' the key.
green flag turned up and he put the key in the ignition and turned it to the first position and pressed and held the 'open' button on the fob until the beast came to life. Hope this helps somone.
