What is the correct tool and rebuild kit for the high pressure fuel pump. Old threads have links but no longer exist. Seems to be variations when I search web.

From memory you will need the m47 m57 bmw hydraulic valve lifter puller from the bay (set of 2) can't remember which one I used but was cheaper to buy set than by one ..Bosch service kit ordered on line The little label on the hp pump will give you the code to order the correct kit. Think I payed about £20 for service kit and £25 for pullers. Also a 17 MM. Allen key to get the plug out of the timing cover to get the puller in and new gasket for between pump and timing cover..

Write down the numbers on your pump and then give these ^ people a ring. Seals are £12, tool is £40 or so. They are very helpful and know exactly what to send you.

Looks similar - tool number is LRT 12 - 178 and LRT 12 - 178(1).
Darwen diesels supply tool and seals as a kit.
