Woss up with Dave Sarah?

I was just having a quick read as I suspect it may be the turbo...thought I was going to stop completely on the m62 when I lost acceleration and started slowing down-got a loud whistle and black smoke when I tried put my foot down and dropped to about 30mph from 60, managed the last 15 miles with my fingers crossed and was pretty pleased when I reached the exit.
Andy had let me know there was black smoke bellowing out when I had overtaken him earlier .
Going to have a butchers under the bonnet in the morning.....

check the turbo flexi pipes for delaminating. the last one I replaced was a second hand flexi ;)

Sounds possible. Glad it wasn't enough to spoil your weekend though :)

Hopefully it won't be anything too sinister, sure the guys on here will give you some good advice. I doubt the weekend would cause a turbo failure? Could be that red diesel?

Fobbing her off with poor quality tat....:p:p

can ya fob someone off when its free and ya tell em its second hand

and all my tat's good quality.
it was someone else's second hand tat I put on, as I dint have one :p

ya tree hugger :p

edit-
anyway, she aint confirmed any delaminations yet. It might well be the turbo.
or the air filter full of strata.

Not been home long. My Landy decided to break as well.

Bloody dreadful journey back from the M56 at 30mph on my own. Forgotten how difficult it is to get around Manchester when you cant go fast enough to change lanes. And the M62 at that speed is suicidal

But still had a great weekend, thank everyone, will post more and pics later, too tired now

what's up with your motor sue?

No idea, running too hot and and when I pulled it between the houses I realise there was a dreadful rattling noise.

With hindsight I should have got it recovered but I just drove very slowly and kept stopping to cool it down
