Are you going up in convoy as a group...and which day are you heading up there?

I've got the friday off, I think the others have too, so I would assume a convoy would be the best way. Definitely going on the friday to make the most of it. Get involved, :)

at least it is a 3 part kit,......much easier to stick on than a single welded item,.... need big hammer and hot firey stick to persuade it between the chassis rails if you had one of those.... i had to mill out the bolt slots that fit in the chassis rails a bit (8mm)when i lomped my winch bumper on with mine due to the unforseen crap manufacture of said item.....never again, next time i make my own. you could get a bridle strop if you were worried about pulling from a single point ( basically a length of tow strap with 2 quick clips and free running delta link between ) evens out the pull forces exerted on your chassis/recovery points and helps to keep a straight line pull.
 
After originally stating i couldn't go, i would now like to go, but will not get there until saturday. Is there a group i can slide into?

Group 1,
how many people in each tent/trailer tents and how many:
So far I have,

Jai_landrover: 1 tent 1 person,
Ryder: 1 tent 2 people,
GibboPhil: 1 posh trailer tent and ? people
let me know if you have already booked to save me double booking Jai

As jai says, he and Phil fitted one of these to my Disco with Jate rings as well. The recovery points are a bit low and if you're stuck in mud more than likely to be inaccessible. Don't forget you will need ropes and shackles as well if you have not already got them.

If you want to take a look and see before splashing the cash you are very welcome to come round one evening or on a weekend.

As long as you don't have over four people on one vehicle it's just the standard price, anything over and then you have to pay extra. I also may have a couple of extra bodies coming with me.
