205 tyres 1st gear low range @ 2500RpM is approx 12.02Mph
The Aim is to get:
900 tyres 1st gear Low range @2500RPM 11.64Mph,
Instead of what I have currently which is:
900 tyres 1st gear low range @2500RPM 15.5Mph.
No wonder it felt so horrible to get around whaddon. 4 MPH seems like nothing but its a third faster than standard LR factory and I sure felt it. Jai

Also, I will need to get some front recoveries sorted out....will this be up for the job and your thoughts on it plz?

OK but Ignore the One of a kind bollix, Me and Gibbo Phil fitted the exact same one to Disco01's Disco but we also fitted Jate rings. Its a complete pain in the arse to fit but it seems good. I would prefer to have the tow points in a different position myself, possibly thicker material and not just rely upon a single weld for a pull from. But thats being over fussy. It will work fine. Disco2's are harder to get these kind of bits so there is not much choice. Jai

Forgot to mention, I called the campsite today and they finally answered. No discount unless you are DoE registered it's £12.25 per night, one vehicle and a max of 4 people per vehicle, Gibbo my dirty lova, trailer tents are all good. The receptionist was lovely, although that's irrelevant, she said it would be better to book under one name to avoid confusion. Not sure if that was for them or us???
