I enjoyed it...watched it tonight. OK the offroad techniques were a little lacking in finesse but hey... it was entertaining.... and at least the Rangie proved its point!

Right folks, I'm off to North Wales in a couple of hours for a spot of laning tomorrow. Hope to be back on Saturday, so if you are going out I'll try and catch up with you all. If not, Sunday is good for me but if you were all planning on going out on Saturday don't wait for me.

In case I don't get the chance I'll bid you all "Happy New Year" and hope we can all hook up for a day on the lanes soon.

i thought that rangie looked quite good once it had the xtras fitted (lifted, tyres etc),and that road looked like a death trap i would hate to be driving on that .
the sand dune looked like a challange tho, would love to do something like that but not as extreme.

Me and my bloody big mouth!
Not going to make it out this weekend coz some complete idiot at work has decided to leave at very short notice and I have to cover Saturday and Sunday nights:mad: Well ****ed off but at least I will earn a few quid to put towards toys for the disco. Somebody else will have to take the lead on this one and arrange where/when etc.

Hi all missed all the fun in the snow, but had brake issues with the landy and took 3 days to get the parts.I have not been out much lately as I have been working and playing hard doing my own thing.Hope to get out with you all soon or next pub meet Jan 6th. HAPPY NEW YEAR all Steve.

i will be up for the pub meet - has a pub been decided on?

going to look at a rangey tomorrow, fingers crossed

Carpy whats up wiv the 110? I heared you may have probs

nothing is up with it, but with the bearing going i have decided once and for all that it will get its spruce up. I want a proper new interior, new suspension kit, front winch, some new panels, new exhaust system, new seats, an organised rear interior, etc etc and now that i have a road vehicle lined up i can look at taking the 110 off the road and giving it some TLC to turn it into what i really want it to be

I think carpys 110s doing more miles round krises work shop than off roading

actually it tends to average about 1500 miles a month which is quite heavy to be honest.

its on my drive not at the workshop

13th Jan I thought,

Carpy you found any cheap salisbury axles yet? I still need both hub caliper assys? not bothered about diff or diff internals.

I thought the pub meet was gonna be the second week in Jan.... did I get it wrong?

not the foggiest mate cant remember - i just remember there being talk of going to a new pub down the road again

some time if you all have some time you should do a meet down here. I know its a bit of a trek from you guys but my local pub is also the best pub in the UK i reckon - its the oldest pub in england, has many dozens of beers, ales, bitters and ciders available of which most are on tap. so excellent for proper beer enthusiasts. Its also an awesome pub, and serves truly excellent food.
