Thought Id tell you guys how I am getting on lol. Fuel tank in, props on, brake pipe on and bled. Went to turn it on and it won't start. Half heartedly turning over until all that happens is the fuse box clicks . Maybe I need to bleed the fuel pipes? Any ideas how I can do this while my battery is flat?

Looks like just me with BenjyP riding shotgun. Nothing quite like going laning alone, I'm sure we'll find a stuck slitty or two along the way.

I think I'm going to ashwell tomorrow.anyone going that way.
Did all of the Ashwell lanes last time out, be careful of one that's basically been ploughed by the farmer.

Doing Santa Pod while it's open, Ashwell is open all of the time.

Even that Ashwell lane was hard today!! Good fun though!! Thanks Brett for the ride... Shame I couldn't have tagged along in mine but hey ho! More fun to be had in a series... And I certainly couldn't have shown off quite as much infront of the BMW... ;)

I just showed a couple of guys in a BMW a bit of what my little old Series can do.

Did you do ashwell today then.sorry didnt get your last message till now.will pm my number when im back on linefor the future.did all the lanes at ashwell and guillden morden and then went to potton.

Started at Santa Pod, then Grafham Water ending in Ashwell.

A good gay out, amazing how fast you can do them all on your own, not having anyone to rescue.

Did you go down the one with all the bushes.was tight but got through.had a good day to.oh and the ploughed field is no more.all flat and easy to pass

glad you guys had fun.

I went trialling well I didn't I ended up marshalling the last couple of rounds TBH

continued to refit a standard bumper with recovery rings, it looks So nice with a std bumper!

spitfiremk1uk and myself changed my bent steering drag link over for a HD one and swapped my track rod for a HD one. We also wapped out his front propshaft and siliconed the roof of my 90 to make it watertight-ish and stop the horrendus whistling at 75mph!

Road tested both vehicles jobs a goodun!

Next phase:

Continue prep for Nationals
seat/seat belts,
dash re wire less wires,
make new improved winch mount to fit atd bumper

Yes, all pretty easy stuff today.

I painted my Landy 2 weeks ago, first time out since, put a ding in the front wing today, out with the paint brush again.

Went and drove down pepperstock after picking the kids up from school. It's clear to see that there are much fewer vehicles going down there... looks like it is getting overgrown in places.

Continued on to do the one by the kennels... some lorry had clobbered a tree on the road between them so we had to spend half hour clearing that little lot with a strop... towbar and a small saw... before we got to the lane! t'was nice to see the two lanes again though... usually dont bother with pepperstock since they put the width restriction in place but since we were in the neighbourhood in any case!

Where's pepperstock.

right guys, appeal for any help or ideas.

The injector pump isn't coming off. kris reckons he has tried a 6 foot bar on the end of it, more brute force, heating, soaking in WD, and a small impact gun. and its not budging

Obviously its a hefty bolt, so its never a simple undo job, but he says he hasnt seen anything like it, and we are now both stumped. Tried to track down an inch drive impact gun, cant find any local firms that have one or are willing to do it. the one guy i spoke to reckoned if its that tight an impact gun won't help anyway, coz usually with really tight bolts, like truck wheel nuts etc, it needs to be cracked with a bar first before the impact gun does anything

so my appeal for help - anyone reckon they have an idea that could get it off?

this is pretty much the last thing the landy needs, the new injector pump and timing kit, then she is ready for the mot. but we have been stuck on this for 6 weeks now, its doing Kris's nut coz its taking up workshop space, its doing my nut coz i was meant to have it back in january when mark still had it, and till i get it im driving a moneypit of a volvo

so an appeal for help, hopefully one of you will know how to shift it
