I don't normally do competitions, but I filled in a few cards at the Ski Show. Got a couple of calls yesterday, one from Land Rover to see if I'd like a day in a brand new Range Rover at Luton Hop Experience centre. Would you buy it secondhand after I've finished with it?
Second call was from Interski to say that I'd won the Aosta Valley stand competition, for a week in Courmayeur for two people, half board hotel, next to the lifts, pool and spa, flights, transfers and lift passes. Result or what. I'm doing a lottery ticket tonight.

My breather kit turned up today and I'm not sure which is the best way to run the pipe. Do I run the pipe inside the snorkel, meaning I have to make a hole in the intake and seal it up with silicone (how watertight will it be), or run it outside the snorkel by drilling a hole in the wing (my landy's got enough holes already).

Or does anyone know a better way?

Run the pipes up the outside of the snorkel, cable ties do the job. Heat the ends of the breather pipe and bend them so that they look like a walking stick, so water doesn't go down the pipe when it rains.

No snow ploughs on the M1 tonight, 4" of snow, total chaos. Had to overtake, undertake, made some good fresh tracks though.

Traffic Wombles out at J5 totally ****ing clueless.

I visited Matlock to pick up a 109 roof rack tonight.

On the way down to Birmingham I managed to bag myself a fully loaded 38 ton artic Fallen off the road into the verge, an unladen artic, Car full of babies and young uns and countless normal cars in ditches and generaly stuck, including a jam sandwitch.

Snow was between 4 and 6 inches And properly cold. Had to de ice my wipers every 10 mins or so! The a38 came to a standstill with every hill, roundabout, off ramp and random car ramming the centre partician. Police and helpers were left falling over with every car turned around and sent back down the hill on the other side of the road.

Good job I had my ropes with me.

Got some video. I will post asap.

Regular cars are just plain ****!
