I am looking at a cb twig mount to go on the disco spare wheel mount at the mo and I rekon I will have a couple made by Sat. Keeps the base out of the way and easy to get to to put on and take off so nobody can theive it. Will post a pic this week when ive made mine up ;)
 
Wow great stuff ..

Theres a hi lift jack carrier that somone is selling on Ebay that bolts onto the hole pattern of the wheel carrier and holds the jack in place .

That cb does look tidy up there . up and out of the way . the swinging mic cable may get on me nerves after a bit though lol ...

Any way tc all i got get some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

hey fallas hope your all well,

got the landy finished saturday night :) shame i missed out this weekend but was worth it.

whats the plan this coming weekend then the 12th where we all meeting and what area we heading towards.
 
Glen, Saturday morning, meet probably A6 around Bedford, then up to Santa Pod & Grafham Water. I'll PM exact meeting point details. Would be good for peeps to post their interest, so I can send PMs to anybody who's going, plus it gives me an idea of numbers.
 
Had a good day out yesterday but the Range Rover has a wee bit of a coolant leak and it's not looking good for next week so I may have to sit it out. Will have to see if I can sort it this week but short on time so looks doubtful :-(

I'm selling a spare wheel mounted Hilift jack holder. Better made and for less money than that one on Fleecebay

Guys,

Thanks for the support, would like to join you. The Rangie won't make it for the weekend. The timing cover has got to come off. Not really difficult just a bit of a fiddle and a bit time consuming. I won't have time to do it this week and there is no way of doing a temporary fix, don't want to cook my engine.
 
Fair play Kev. No point making it worse. If you do need a hand don't hesitate to give me a shout. (Be nice to get me mits on a V8 again after so many years with diesels) ;)
 
I'll be up for saturday hopefully, im hoping to get off work early and get some sleep (not due to finish till 7am) and then be up in time to come and join you,
