Your disco is worth whatever you value it at. I'd pay more for a good series than some less for a disco than most and not alot for a defender. But for the right vehicle I'd pay alot.

Diffs are the same i.e you could bolt Spydermans diff centre into your diff casing however you will need to change the crownwheel as yours is 3.5:1. Spydermans is 10 spline but you can get 24 variants. Ashcrofts have a look see loads to choose from. I prefer fit and forget none of this air line to get ripped off or go wrong just when you need it. but you compromise drivability on the road.

Diff centres are about 400 quid. Be wary tho as I said to Spyderman Ashcroft have stopped selling Detroits for Rover axles because they were going wrong and were not covering the warantee. Paddocks started to sell them instead. Spydermans was an older one so it will be one of the good ones.

twas contemplating soin' my water pump 15 mins ago. Wouldn't mind but Me bein a twot reversed it in the drive so gave it a miss. Got London Screwed today EC2M until 6.30pm and I have to go back tomorrow.

Not looking good the nights are getting darker every day and not getting in until late sucks! Need to work harder and pay for a propper workshop with lights!

Evening all, I had 5 minutes spare this evening to open the packing crate and marvel at the Landy porn inside. Diff looks sweet, can't wait.

Had another bit of a spend up, bought a Clarke mains powered impact driver, mainly for getting wheelnuts off, tried it on one, works a treat, seems immensely powerful, not very delicate though, but for stubborn stuff it seems the biz.:)
