****a **** for Spyderman. Its all built up ready to go.

Unbolt shafts extract. drain oil unbolt diff replace diff replace shafts job done!

10 Perfect pictures of the inside of the lans cap if you look really closley and blow it up to A0 you might be able to see the moulding marks "Canon" backwards or indeed NONAC.

because you need to pay somone £500 to buy the diff centre and get somone or learn to assemble it into a diff. Plus you have the cost of HD shafts to add to that and it does change its driving characteristics. once you start the uprating it starts to get expensive.

Typical front axle uprating £1500, Rear £800 ish.

About 8 or 9 years ago lockers were very expensive. Lockers and winches were silly money spending £2000 on a winch was common place for a decent average winch. Things have got cheap.

Back when I started going to comps winches were quite specialist I was lucky to have one there was only a couple of other people attending that had them. Now theyre £200.

There is also an argument that the comp guys use and its very true.

If you learn to drive with open diffs and learn how to keep your wheels on the ground then your improved driving style helps no end. If you then add lockers and you will scare yourself and either buy a roll cage or start doing silly stuff.

How many times have you seen all the gear and have no idea such muppets are usually hanging around Whaddon P&P sites and have been shown up many times by a well sorted motor and competant driver.

Difflocks are the way to go tho real 4x4 with drive to each wheel is awsome look at the trial guys CCV for instance see how far they get their motors. They go places many people will only ever dream of. Imagine the same trial drivers with lockers! It starts to get silly how far you can push a motor.

Lockers are Good! Brett had quite a bargin! he will love his motor. Only down side is that I think greenlaning will be boring on another level because everything is drivable.

£500 spare to put into a non bling item that would transform its capabilities no end indeed many vehicles arn't worth that much complete let alone bolting £500 worth of stuff it in the back axle.

Ah! I see the issues now.... so REALLY silly question - is it that straightforward to put lockers into a disco Diff or am I being silly?

motor is worth what you love it for! My disco is worth about £2.50 but the fun factor is outrageous!
