:eek: What are you going to sell? Btw Jai, do you know how I can tell if i need to replace my PAS pump or box or what? There is a fair bit of play in my steering which has always been there and can get annoying (I can move the steering wheel 15-20 cm around and nothing happens to the wheels) and i find often the steering is heavy while turning a corner as if the power steering isn't working but then it suddenly kicks in and is nice and smooth and easy to turn. Also there is a bit of a groaning noise on full lock. Are reconditioned parts the way to go? Where is best to get them?

Cheers, Jack

jack i'd be looking at all your ball joints and drop arm first for movement. The pas groaning etc do you have a pas leak? Is your fluid low? Need tomone to rock your steering while you check for movement

I checked the fluid a week ago it was ok. A while back i got my brother to move the steering wheel, there was no movement underneath where it felt loose in the steering wheel.

There's a good lane near the Crooked Chimney PH.

You can't use a Chainsaw in a public place without a licence. Bow Saw is fine.

As Spyder says... no to chainsaw without a license... yet youre fine on private land.

As far as im aware, youre well within youre legal right to remove the obstruction. Similar rules apply to a neighbors overgrown tree, if its over your fence you can cut it as long as you throw the cut off back over the fence... I believe you can clear the BOAT of over grown/fallen trees if safe to do so.

I cant do lanes this weekend as its my brother stag-do back up in Shropshire but count me in for the next one!!....

Jack, Are you leaking fluid anywhere?? Mine has a leak that comes and goes as it pleases, sometimes leaking more than others... usually its a seal on the bottom of the PAS Box... you can buy a replacement seal kit but a Box is gonna be needed eventually... Im looking at doing mine too, as is i believe RYDER... maybe we can get a deal on 3 somewhere if you need one?!

Saturday is a blow out Sunday I gotta collect a gearbox and bolt my floor down might be quiet now with some of Spitfirenk1uk's Apollo 13 insulation!

Maybe we can, but i want to make sure that is the problem first. If you use paddocks it worked out as about £115 delivered after sending the dodgy box back. I will have to have a good look at it. Haven't noticed any fluid on the ground but maybe it is in really small quantities?

No wonder you spent 600 quid... thats actually pretty cheap for a spaceship i would imagine! :p:p

I'm hoping we have enough service stuff to last a couple of years for our motors, Oh and I got some propper wire crimpers which I've been after a while that retails at a silly price as well as a decent lamp for th eback of the 90. The last recovery ****ed me orf looking in the back of th e90 in complete darkness for shackels and ropes. Still need more bits n pieces need to find a decent stereo setup quality of sound is important but not wanting to spend millions on somthing thats going to get submerged!

I think the Oil was nearly £200 worth but latest E7 spec engie oil so as good as it gets really. And the all important and overdue Waxoil for my chassis to keep it from being welded!!!

I need to get some Plastic inserts for the trans tunnel will need to fire up RAVE at some point to check th epart no as I'm missing shed loads!

each 25l container retails at £145 so a couple of them and a few other smaller containers its not a bad price and being the latest spec it gives stupid long oil change intervals and copes with the highest of oil temp before degrading so should be fine! This is not your average gtx marketed crap halfrauds will try and flog you for 35 notes a gallon!

Speakers i have some 100mm sony for the front, need to think about rears behind my seat. i'm not into serious Bass but clarity with some bass would be nice. Trying to fit decent speakers in behind the seats is a nightmare!
