Jai does.... I know f* all! But hey... you're welcome. I'll have a chat to the wife and see what we can do.

Chip we're out on Sunday so you're welcome to join us.

Went out over Ashweell this evening... took a look at the lane from hell, from a safe distance just to show Gibbo Phil. Some lovely lanes and no stress this evening.

Jesus I only went out for a couple of lanes... got back and there's 6 pages of new posts!

When's a good time to call you? Need times and a meeting point (something Tom tom can find) I'll try to get me new rings fitted in time too :)

I'll be up until about 1am. Else call tomorrow evening.

I'll give you the meeting place on the phone if thats ok

All my CB bits arrived today so will have that all sorted out for the next laning day. almost got a complete floor in the SJ now. Hi Brett, almost got that cage finished, but was't able to do much on it today, had this manager from another branch walking round all day. hope to have it sorted and bring it with me for this pre Salisbury meeting.

Hi folks,

I know Glenn321 said he was coming on Sunday, so are the Rangie guys. Anyone else up for revisiting Santa Pod while its still open?

The rings are essential. Without them it might be difficult to recover you if you get stuck. IU know they say that tyres are the first mod to make... but rings come before even that!

Not tonight... going on sunday! Tonight was Ashwell... another source of great entertainment

No hurry mate, it's not going anywhere ATM. Good to see you next week though.

ChipV8 - You might consider a good steering guard that has high lift jacking points and recovery eyes. That way you get an all in one package, protection for your steering, recovery points and jacking points. Well worth considering, I know my steering guard has already paid for itself in saving the front end from damage and helping to get me out of the mire, 40 Foot springs to mind:)

Rangie, Remember if the cage is to be certified it has to pass MSA requirements to be classed as a legal cage for comps. Even Jamies one is now technically no good as somone has drilled into the frame to mount lights. It shouldn't pass an MSA inspection. Welding should be up to scratch there are so many cages that shouldn't be used. check out the MSA Blue Book for requirements. Jai
I wont be doing comps mate its just a bit of protection just in case as i do like to do the odd big sometimes to big hillsand its the one off his motor as its not as strong as he was told mastik makes good filler for sills.......NOT

Spyderman,

When do we get to see the new and improved Spydiemobile?? Can't be far off now.

Kev, if you get yourself over to DB's tonight, you'll see it. It's test fit for the engine night. To be fair, it's a long way off being able to move under it's own power. I'm only able to work on it in the evenings, due to prior weekend commitments. DB is on nights next week, so I think I'm really going to struggle to get everything finished for Salisbury. As long as it is almost there, I'll take it. As long as it's reliable. Minor tweaks I can deal with later. As soon as it's got it's engine running, I'll probably move it back home, so I can spend longer working on it.
