Looks like the weather and a lack of daylight have stopped play. If they can't get it out tomorrow daytime, I'm available tomorrow evening. Will keep an eye on this thread, can bring extra ropes and shackles, a 5ft high lift and a scaffold pole to the party - who's bringing the BBQ!!

ok so if your gunna be red leader u need solders......:p

I have also got some mud tyres for 2moz so it will hopefully stop me getting stuck!!!

Slow down there!! An enthusiastic volunteer is useful but this sounds like it needs a more considered approach. It doesn't matter what tyres you have, anyone with any sense will park up in a safe place and walk in. Equally there will be a few other bodies and motors there so if it is absolutely necessary to send another vehicle in for recovery it should come out in one piece (hopefully? or at least that's the theory!).

Remember a two tonne land rover in a difficult place will kill you or somebody else if you rush in and miss. I'm not taking a pop at you but really, take a considered view, recovering a stuck Land Rover is not as easy as you might think in a tight space with poor weather.

so is there enough bods for this or is ya still recruting?

Dunno just now, I suspect it'll all kick off again tomorrow. One way or another though I get the feeling this Landy will be coming out of there. I know one thing though, we have a winner for the Ryder Cup!! How long has it been in there now?

He he, I think I'd rather go with Chance anchor style thing meself, get huge load out of them but lugging around the power pack to install 'em could be a challenge!!

Anyways, if we need reinforcements has anyone got yer number? If not PM it over and I'll add you to the collective list. cheers.
pm on its way, dont think its too far from Sunny Romford
