Hi guys...

seems like a lot of support has been going on behind the scenes. Sorry to say we failed in our mission and the vehicle is not coming out tonight. Ben will wait on a call from Jai or vice versa to ascertain the best way to move forward (pardon the pun!)

The vehicle needs two winches (in my slightly inexperienced opinion) Strapping the front and winching the front with a hand winch just didnt cut the mustard. There are issues with the way the vehicle has been left that mean that while it is not going to slip into the water... someone will need to be there early in the morning at the latest for safety reasons. Don't wish to go into any more detail than that on an open forum.

There will be some photo available... Jack set his camera to take one pic every few minutes for the whole day so some of them should have come out fine and some will be posted on this thread.

The imminnent question now, though, relates to getting the vehicle out once and for all. Ben will need bodies tomorrow simply to make the damn thing properly stable at least!

Going to put the kids to bed and will be back on in a while!

If needed I'm more than happy to add my muscle and stunning good looks as i'm based in Much Hadham but am 4x4 less for the time being.

I can get up there for around 8pm but as I say I cant leave work until 5.30 but after that should be fine. If Bob is up for it and his 130 has a decent winch he could well be handy I will go get my mota sorted for tomorrow night.

Bob TBH If your going in the morning from the pics and description your mota with winch and a couple of snatch blocks job should be a goodun

Its not as if its wedged against an immovable object or needs spinning round just pulling sideways front and back reverse if it drops in again then same again TBH doesn't even look that stuck

Ok, hi guys...
Firstly thanks for the offers and the help today from Ryder and Jack.

Jai is not going down there tonight but may be there tomorrow after work.

I'm free to go in the morning but could do with a lift from Stevenage. Anytime suits, but I should be back at work at 1pm but may be able to get some time off if I speak nicely.

Hopefully it should be out tomorrow but we will need some more strops/ropes etc as all were taken away tonight. Waffle boards too were benificial.

Thanks guys.

I know it's not much but you is welcome to borrow my strop if needed, If you in stevenage pm me you address and i'll drop it off on the way to work

Ok so guys, more of the same tomorrow should have it out. We just need recovery kit and daylight. Anyone who wants to lend a hand is welcome but the lane is sodden and sticky!! It only needs to come back another say 10m before its probably driveable out the lane! If anyone can definitely pick me up tomorrow PM me a time.

Thanks guys
