No one is popping anywhere.... finally got some of the white stuff and can't get through dunstable cos of all the other numpty drivers blocking the way. Just took an hour from my house to leagrave high street and back!

Hmmm, Still no snow here. Landys deciding not to start today though so possibly a good thing. Think i may need to change the fuel filter, Fueling issues me thinks.

i dont go to dunstable any more.it smells.so does luton.

Ha... Dunstable is not bad. Luton does have a bit of a bad smell though -

Managed to get from my house to tesco... twice. Now the traffic is dying down a bit I could go out and play... but I spent all me fuel waiting in traffic jams so going anywhere before tuesday is gonna be a no no I think!

We have about 10-15cm and still falling here just south of cambridge, but my friend broke my lights by mistake the other day so I am driving my sister's clio while shes in germany. How ironic is that ...!! Replacements (hopefully) arriving on Monday... Was on my evil shift outside last night until 10pm on icy roads. All i can say is i'm glad i had the day off today :D:D

Just got back from town half an hour ago Passat's are ****e! Came back down stockingstone and saw a familar face towing up people! Spyderman is making full use of his new x member! Well done Brett!

£ 36.05 & a nice LED torch from a woman that works for Seimens. Didn't ask for a penny, just a thank you.

There's still some nice people in Luton.

Slippery as **** on Stockingstone hill. Worst car of the afternoon - MB A-Class, pulled 3 of the crappy little things. Lowered a 3 series down the hill, the guy was just sliding all over the place, he was ****ting himself.:D

He was so scared he wouldn't move, caused chaos, took 5 minutes of explaning what I was going to do before he let me hook up to the back of him. He stuck his in neutral and I just stuck mine in low first, easy as.

Met Gibbo Phil later, he's off towards Hitchin, but I was starving so came home.

Traffic was okish getting to town took me about an hour getting home about half an hour. Fooking muppets everywhere. I can say that the Passat is THE worst car I've driven in snow. Nearly got stuck in town had to reverse up a couple of times. and coming back towards MaccyD's from Homebase/barnfield I nearly never made it up the hill even tho I carried lots of speed up it. MUPPET behind me was ****ed cos he was up my arse and he had to stop aswell as did most of the other twots behind. Why people don't wait until the way is clear and then have a clear run is beyond me. Cant stand the system on the car that cuts the revs and inputs traction control. When you need to spin up you just can't sits at 1500RPM no matter what. Did my best poxy Car! Bring on th eLandys MOT and fail sheet so I can get working!

Lol! I was almost at the poiint of spinning th ecar around and reversing the whole way homeTbh Fooking thing No wonder there are so many accidents these modern cars and ****e tyres suck! need some of your beasties Spydie some winter tyres. I forgot just how good the landys are until I drove the car in the snow.

Well one landy propshaft rebuilt, another UJ to do and were rolling!. Will be fitting them in the morning bolting everything back together and ready for its MOT. oh and a bulb for the side repeater as its got a fan dangled fitting compared to the bulbs I just brought!

Well what can I say, what a laugh!!

Rangey threw its alternator belt first thing yesterday but put on a new one and went out to play. I never realised there were so many 4 x 4's round here, you just don't seem to see them if you know what I mean. Anyways, assisted a Jag and an Astra just because I could.

Jai, you need winter tyres. I drove my "other" car up over the downs last night without any problem, traction control hardly came on.

Like Spyderman said, if you get stuck give me a call.

Winter Tyres Rock!!!

You can imaging now how bad it was last winter when I got stuck down near J9 trying to get through that single track road. I thought "Oh ****!!!" who the hell is going to get me out of here?

coming down the hill yesterday Rach said oh its an old land rover I said Na its too high. next thing I saw a winch bumper and snorkle top Ah its Spyderman!

Jai,

It feels really strange being so low down, the winter's are only 265/70R16. Takes a good few inches off of the height. Accelerates so much faster too.
