Ah, that sounds good, at least someone somewhere seems to know the difficulties that trucks are having at the moment. Problem is I don't have food stuffs on, so possibly wouldn't apply to me.

Beaker,

What are you doing for your battery situation? I was told 2x these :

Numax CXV-X 1000 Amp - Leisure Batteries - Numax Leisure Batteries

fit the defender seat box. I am going to do the Tmax split charge system as its all there my batterys are Fubared currently been on trickle charge for about 3 days and nights only 12.8 Volts. Wont crank over for very long mabe 2 or 3 times and then no power!.

Also need to sort out this fridge and all my wiring to the second battery for camping. I really enjoyed the last outing (Booger made my day trying to get into his new bed while slightly under the influence)!

Woo Loads to do lots of fun!

Jai, this looks cheaper at £40 but i dont think it includes a display. If i have the money I might look at fitting a dual system too. My current battery seems to be finding it pretty hard in this cold weather and im hoping to camp up in scotland some time in the early-ish new year. Call me crazy if you want :D:D

Hi Jack,
Yea I have seen the X-eng split charge. It comes without any meters or battery atate indicators. The main selling point for Tmax was the ability to link the batterys together even if the main battery isn't absolutly full for a period of time I can see this being handy however as its only for a period of time will not destroy the starting batt.

I can see that being useful, but I'd end up electrocuting myself if i tried to install it on my own!! I'm bloody useless :D:D If i were to get a kit like this where would you recommend I go to get it fitted? Or would you help me for lots of beer tokens :p:p

mate we could sort it out for you but it'd have to be done right and I'd want to run all new cables so we knew they were good at time of install.

Lots of viewers to this thread this evening. Spyderman... you back? Ash... nice to see you about again.

Thanks sooo much thats super kind :):) Did I mention I have some roof lights which I've been too scared to wire up, and I'm thinking of buying a raptor engineering dash? :D:D Where can I get new cables?

I have a v8 so don't worry about weight lol I had 19J before so I know what you mean. Bloke is coming on Monday to fit new injectors and re-wire and re-route all the electrics so I will be on the road again before I know it just in time for it to snow again :)
