Well that's torn it! Bloody insurance company has taken 3 months money instead of one... final payment they says!

Blown it for the weekend and several days thereafter I reckon.

So... got some disco turrets - a rear axle casing nicely sprayed up, from a 90 (I think) and a few extra bits n pieces. Gonna have to sell em to raise a few quid this week.

Oh what joy!

Hey Ryder,
I had the same idea but ended upstripping and weighing in my old rear axle casing they are worthless nobody is paying anything like what they are worth le alone after cleaning them up and painting them. Good luck tho somone will want it dependant on what type it is, drum disk etc. Jai

We got a trailer half full to weigh in and possible another bigger trailer on its way to strip or do up dependant on its condition i think scrap is better than redurbed bits at the mo. Real shame to throw good bits away but somtimes better off with the cash in your pocket.

Incidently how much does Kai want to strip and clean axle casings just out of interest?

Jeez that's sexy!

I dunno rally Jai... he does it for fun but I reckono he'd be quite happy with a score

BTW, can I nick you battery charger again for a couple of days. I've sold the shoggy and it is being collected but I think all my batteries are either ****ed or flat. Gonna have to try and get enough charge to start it up a couple of times.

I still have that fella that is buying 4x4s. Around £400 for old motors without an MOT but running enough to get him into bulgaria - sometimes something crops up.

Who filmed that?

That was when I took Chris for his first fording experience. Bit of a baptism Eh?:D

It was just the 2 of us that day.

No idea who filmed it, just found it on youtube when I was looking for videos of furneaux pelham and thought "I recognise that Series"

Picked up Claire's car today, going to order a snorkel for myself and maybe a roof bar with lights and then finally will be out again. It's been too long already.

I was talking to a friend at work the other day who lives in Redbourn who saw someone drive their brand new Freelander into the ford and stop to take some photos....

...then they tried to restart the engine!
