I WANT O GO LANING!!!! Bloody work, means imnot out now till september with holidays etc grrrrrrrrrrrr
hope ya'll ok

99 At least you've got a motor that goes.

Good evening's work, DB and I fitted the extended 1 ton shackles, all I can say is, has anybody got a rope ladder to get into a Landy, it's given it about another 2" lift. I can say goodbye to getting under 6'6" barriers. Measured the clearance under the front diff at 13":D

Woo hoo!

One lump of concrete... seriusly moved out of the way. Flippin well played Glenn! A little team effort, a little tree surgery and did anyone realise that Glenn has the only levitating landy! Never mind spyderman's wheels.... this motor floats in mid air!

I'm sure the pics will follow! Great result!

Glenn well done on the concrete block. :D

Been doing some research and thinking about my Landy. Recon one of the main causes for it's demise was a blocked air, so I shelled out last night for a very cool stainless steel Southdown raised air intake, this DB and I are going to hook up to a sealed 200tdi air cleaner. This hopefully should solve one of the problems. The other is that the fan sprays crap all over the engine everytime it goes in the wet stuff, out of neccessity due to lack of room with the new engine, the fan has to go. We've got an electric one which will be fitted in front of the rad, behind the grill, with a switch so that I can turn it off when wading and in mud holes.
It's good to be able to sort it out properly and hopefully I won't have to touch it again, apart from maintenance.:D

Well one lump of concrete moved, that was a beast fair play to the Landy I never realized just how capable she really was bigggggggg smile there then:D .

And thanks to all that helped me out two very late nights good work fallas, shows as a team we are nearly unstoppable:D :D :D

Rock and Roll. Well done Glen , Who needs a tractor with Glenn around lol.

Great to hear what your Landy is comming back bigger and better than it ever wa Spyderman , cant wait for us all to hit the lanes again and i hope DB isnt working himself to hard .

Long week on my end work work work still havent finished this cup and now im tending a sick wood pidgeon lol ..

Hope i can win the lotto this weekend lol

TC hope your all well . and not going to crazy .

Doing a few lanes around hitchin/hertford this evening. Anyone up for joining us give me a call! or respond within the next half hour or so!

Passed by the lane on the way home, parked up and walked down to the concrete block, Glenn did really well to move that. Bit sorry it's gone really, I was looking forward to trying to drive over it.;)

Ryder, I would, but 1 no Landy, 2 need to be indoors at 23.00 to let daughter in, 3 I should be servicing a set of skis for a mate, but can't be arsed.

Yeah... I guess that would cause a slight problem! Ah Well you'll soon be back in the fray I am sure!

Leonberger after we fitted the extended shackles last night, DB and I just stood there looking at it:D:D:D It looks wicked already, then we had to have a go just climbing up into it, it's got no floor ATM, so you can look down to the ground under your feet, it's a bloody long way. Maybe a Lexan or perspex floor would be cool.

Oh Blimey... I really hope you're ready for that one! We've been saying about doing the plain for months and it would be a real **** if you were unable to make it down there!

Ah well... its always nice to have someone youknow you can rely on!

Had a good evening tonight... out and about with Glenn in his neck of the woods, along with Gibbo Phil and leonburger. No photos this time... not really worth it in the dark, but some of the lanes look as though they would be really challenging in the wet!

Heard from Luke Rangie tonight. He says that he and two more friends are definitely up to join us at Salisbury. DB will there be enough room at the camp site or do we need to book more places?

Ryder,

Sorry I couldn't make it out last night, had few beers - had that Friday feeling if you know what I mean.

Sounds like you and Glenn and the guys had a busy week. Sweet move getting the concrete block out of the way.

Spyderman, the news on your motor sounds interesting to say the least, whatever will you do with it next? If we're going out and you're not back on the road you are always welcome to ride shotgun with me - one good turn deserves another and all that.

Anyway, got to crack on now, lots to do today, catch you all later.

Probably attach a permanent tow rope for Ryder;):D
Then some sort of power points for the inside, so that I can run a Sat-nav or laptop.

Thanks,:D I read that as Shogun to begin with, I thought you'd lost your senses and traded your RR for Ryder's Shogun.;):D
