I will ask if they want to go or not. I learnt to drive in Wales on old mine roads in the middle of nowhere when I was 12 or 13. Its great practice to get control of a vehicle.

Whaddon is a pay and play site near Milton Keynes you can do serious damage so go with people that know the site and will tell you where you should and should not go. Do not trust anyone there, they don't half like new guys trying the hard stuff and getting stuck. Jai

Whaddon has no rules, no insurance and you takes ya risk. but It can be great for learning the basics and getting a feel for your vehicle. Jai
 
Looks like I won a dog guard on Ebay for the 90. Damn I didn't really want it but hey ho i'll have to fit it and now I more places to bolt stuff to! Jai
 
its a shame the london - brighton is when it is because im thinking it will probably clash with the europe trip.

It's getting there. Not finished yet, but then when is a Landy ever finished.
Gets me pretty much most places I want to get. With all of the mods I've done, it's pretty much as capable as anything else, short of a challenge truck.
 
it certainly looks half decent! looking forward to starting to tinker with mine. did some small electrical stuff with it today to sort out the rear indicator and had to get the holder, and took the roof rack off. but after the seat belts are all in the serious tinkering starts!
 
I'm well looking forward to the London To Brighton Run, been for the last 3 years but last year was the first time i camped at Crystal palace. Really good fun, just hope it doesn't rain through the night and flood my tent like last year.
 
has anyone got a defender 90 winch bumper laying around that i can have/buy? we must have one amongst us somewhere n need one quite urgently.........

Should have said mate i have one you could have had, however i am thinking of putting it back in now lol
 
well a tenner isnt too bad for the guard and it will stop me getting smacked in the head by flying tools etc if somthing goes wrong at Whaddon or somewhere
