Here's the pictures. Got him out of the first one with an anchor but the anchor drove off for the second one which is directly in front of the first one. I didn't have my 8m strop so had to use the winch. . . . . Well I didn't have to help them at all to be honest but I did. :p

Some ****y little suzuki that was wedged in a massive ditch, I got a pic somewhere I'll try and upload it. I think I knocked my diff lock on as I went to pull him out the second ditch and then crunch. Live and learn.

Pretty little mess though. :D

Did you have difflock engaged??

As soon as you get on the farm track at Whaddon Engage Difflock. Don't listen to the transmission wind up theory, its bollox your tyres will loose grip way before any damage is done. If the ground is uneven/slippery/grass engage difflock no question. Even on a hot day on new tarmac with sticky slick type tyres you may after doing a few miles with difflock engaged get transmission wind up and damage your transfer box but I very much doubt it! If you go offroad and don't engage difflock hammering the throttle you will end up damaging the Diff in the tranny box as the power transfers to and from the axle with the least grip back and forth as weight/grip dictates.

Thinking about it I can't remember, maybe I knocked it off, whichever way round it was it was almost straight after I did it, I heard the whole lot crunch.
