DB, Looking at your avatar. Have you or anybody else ever revisited that lane to have another go at it?

We drove past it this evening. The problem is we know it is narrow but further down, it gets even narrower with a drop on each side, although only for a couple of metres. The only way you're going down there is on a motorcycle or walking or something. Bottom line, foolish to try in a Landy.

at least they are clean

Allo All,
Just a little question,
Anyone have a rough idea how much a tailgate window would be for a 110?
Might be getting a 4.2 v8 110, but the rear window is broken and not having much luck on ebay

Thanks

Just had a look back in this thread, if you look at Ryders photos on page 298 you can see how much deeper Standon was yesterday compared to when we last did it in October. Same goes for Violets Lane.

I see nobody had any "issues" yesterday - we must be getting better at this, nothing broke and not a recovery truck in sight, yeeeeehhaaaaa!

Great day . Great weather ,, Great Lanes ,, Great bunch of Peeps ...

Was good to see some new faces , Well done Spyderman for getting everyone together for an overdue outing ,,

Thanks Ryder and Glenn for navigating us around the countryside . It was like Whacky Racers lol .. It was to bad that we didnt get to catch up with Bretts group at the pub LOL ... Still have no idea what Village its in .

Loved every mile we all did , and even a little laning in the dark to say good bye on lol ..

Was realy good to see you all , Cars of the Day go to Kev and the V8 and our Little Japanese friend LOL that went swimming and loved it Well done ,,

Cheers to all ..

Now i need to get my DS window going up and down

Hehehe, now now, in Ryders defence, he hasn't been stuck the last couple of times his Landy was working and rumour has it it shouldn't be too long before he's back proper. Then I suppose it will be a question of how long it is before he decides to challenge the traction gods!! lol

There's a lane in Stapleford Abbotts, just off M25 near M11, that defeated Goonarmy.
Had to be rescued by a L200:eek::hysterically_laughi

I think a visit to this place could be in order.
There looks like there's plenty of others around there to occupy us for the rest of a day as well. Early March would suit me best, as I want to sort the bearings and seals on the front axle.

Yeah, forgot about that.

I'm not saying anything but I'm sure Spyderman will come up with something, he normally does. It is true to say though that it isn't everyday you see a big fork lift on a byway.

Spyderman did you and the group make it to the pub for Lunch . Was realy looking forward to that lol ..

Where is it and whats the name .. I have got to take a trip there in the next few weekends lol ..
