What does it envolve exactly as there is no description on the website. I'm sure I can load up my tools in the landy and come for a jaunt Jai

I gave them a quick call last week and apparently they arrange a days laning on the plains and the only cost is a voluntary contribution to help for heroes.

I reckon it could be a good day out and all for a good cause, imo

Was outside earlier changing the alternator on the Disco. Think i got it done a lot quicker than if it was warmer. All that was on my mind was get the bloody thing on and back in the warm.:flame:

Jai, just did Mud Lane. You could do it in your van, which is just as well, as I had to reverse 1/2 mile, because I met 3 horse & traps coming the other way

Alright geezer and geezeresses?
I was wondering if anyone who has a swing away rear wheel carrier thats attached to the door, could send me a photo showing how much of an angle the wheel carrier is at when the door is closed, as mine looks excessive! i know zoolandy had one. dunno if anyone else has one?
Hope you all well, sorry i missed the pub meet, bloody scouts!

Hey Dan,

I know with mine they supply shims so that the door rests against the back door on the rubber stop if the carrier rattles the rubber isnt being forced against the door so it is not fitted correctly. make sure your door seal is fitted correclty before shimming the carrier.

Mine locks in the closed position and open position, basically a sprung block falls into the base hinge plate at the open and closed cutouts.

There are different types of carrier so would help if you explain how it locks.

Cheers Jai,

Its one that opens and closes with the back door, so its attached to a plate thats attached to the space where the 2original2 one was, so there is no locking device, it just moves with the door,

same as zoolandys one,

It just looks strange
