Thanks for the wishes guys... my oldest daughter delivered a 7lb 3.5 oz baby girl today! after 14 hours labour! I am soooo proud of her. So here comes grandparenting... just how do you go about educating a newborn... anyone got a babygrow with a pic of a landrover on it?

Ha ha thanks Red... My youngest is just 6 weeks old... if I can wangle it to get my grand daughter at the weekends I'll be bleedin exstatic!
 
Now if I can send her to sleep with that DVD of "A land rover is born" that I recently borrowed from our own DB!!!!
 
re the gearbox not shifting, yep checked the fluid and its lowish, what is the gauge, couldnt see a marker, should it basically just be full up? if so will top it up and see what that does.

If I remember well, you need to check the automatic transmission fluid level with the engine running, box in neutral (engine cold). Pull the dip stick out (the one on the left at the back of the engine when facing the engine) If level is below MAX, pour ATF down the dip stick tube to get the right level. Do not over fill.

i think it tells you on the stick how to test it but what u say sounds right :amen:
 
any suggestions as to where to look online for them? so std manifold down, centre and rear replacement? they sounded awesome!


ebay for a 2nd hand one maybe, no point spending silly money on a stainless prob cost more than you paid for ur RR it cost 70 quid for my mate james to get his one sorted and he had an old cherry bomb improvised to his middle box and just a straight bit of exhust on the rear i will have a look around i think its a 3" pipe isnt it

Sorry gents, gonna have to pull out for saturday. I was trying to fit in the mot this week, but it just hasn't happened, it will have to happen on saturday, so no can do Surrey.

Hi Chris, have you had a look at that disc yet, It has a lot of info on it and there's no problem with making copies for anyone.
