Yep, was a blown diff and some damage to the diff pan which should be weldable. Something must have majorly jammed in there. I just about managed to get it moving in low range and it would only move in jerks a couple of feet at a time

trying to get a group together to out sunday around bucks/bedfordshire. only a late afternoon lane sesh in chesham berko and near wendover
 
Woop Landy has 4 wheel once again and Heavy steering!! lol Well thats a guess lol only reversed it back. just needs more diff oil and one swivel filling and its off for a test drive at some point over the weekend.
 
Hopefully back out soon.... Last trip saw the fuel pump, poss carb go Pete Tong (so not so much the puddles as drop down into 'em it seems...). Time, work and weather have scuppered fixing things, but soon be sorted. Might even get the Tilt fitted next week as well! Maybe...
 
Hi everyone

New the forum and I have got a standard 300tdi discovery and looking to get out and about and have a go at some green lanes. I currently live near biggleswade in bedfordshire but will be moving to stevenage in the next couple of months so if anyone knows of some clubs or if fancy showing a newbie some lanes I would appreciate it. Hopefully once i move and get settled will be spending some money on the disco like 2" suspension lift and other bits and pieces.

I started going through some of this thread to find some clubs and lanes but 2100 pages is a lot to read.

If you take the steam roller to the steam and country show at old warden each year then I've probably seen you before
There's a couple of members on this Forum that go out laning and they are happy to lead the rest of us around for days laning
You just need. To keep an eye on this thread to see what's happening and be ready
 
Welcome Tom, this is a sort of unofficial club thing for laning, keep an eye out for posts and tag along, we meet in the white lion pub in Dunstable every first Wednesday at 7.30ish for a chat and to take the **** :D fish and chips are good as well, pop along you are more than welcome. There are a few that go laning regular ish atm, wilob and leebastard are the normal ones, otherwise known as club90 :p:p if you look back a few pages there are a some vids, think wilob is local to you as well..
 
Hi Tom, normally plenty of people out and about. Not me this week but ill be out easter sunday hopefully. Any one else about that weekend.
 
Hope to be around Easter time aswell now the
90 is back together might make an appearance at Tring comp watch marky is his new challenge motor hopefully this time he won't break anything!! Eek!!

An Wasn't me although I was close gadebridge school and came home on the leighton road.

Hopefully picking up a cheap transporter trailer at the weekend. Anyone need a 6x3 n a bit ish box trailer new wheels tyres and innertubes inc spare needs a paint and jockey wheel offers??
 
Typical I'm in EC2 this am which means I'll be mega late home and the Landy needs Diff oil and some swivel grease putting in then a Test Drive!
