Here is the reason I've been holding off on the treasure hunt. Colin B has sorted this out:

Any takers:: £15 May 5th, Please read all money to charity NO money taken in expenses.

The treasure hunt is a driving challenge, in and around the beautiful Hertfordshire Countryside. At Team Chaos we raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and every penny raised/donated goes to the charity (we take nothing for expenses). Our treasure hunts are a fun filled driving event testing your navigational skills and observation, we have had great feed back from all our previous events and we hope to keep them growing and growing. All you need is a road legal vehicle (with a full tank of fuel), a driv...er and a navigator. We will supply the rest. This is not a race or a rally, it's simply good fun in a Sunday whilst raising money for a wonderful charity who no doubt have helped all of us be it directly or indirectly.
The cost of entry is £15 per vehicle, with up to 4 occupants (any more we ask for a small donation)
The start and finish is at the White Horse in Harpenden. Oh and just to entice you all, they have a beer festival on that day so lots of refreshments to sample once you have finished (please please please make sure you have a designated driver though if you are going to sample the produce available.
Lets raise some money before raising a glass.

Sounds interesting il have to check my work rota but if I'm free il be up for it

Surely it's not that bad, is it? Presumably you control the risk by how far you go into the dangerous/difficult stuff?

It's like any pay&play get it wrong and it could be costly. But it's the clay that's goes everywhere and takes weeks to clean

Not yet to be done but have asked my insurer before its no probs on l plates and someone else as passenger

Check that, don't think you can tow a loaded trailer on L plates, and definitely can't go on motorways.

Really?
Don't you need a C+E provisional for that?

Your provisional for B+E is on licences as standard.

I did my license in a day and cost £360 all in with a company called sirens in rickmonsworth and did test at Leighton Buzzard test center so drove around Dunstable and surrounding area.

Fair enough

Think you can tie a loaded trailer and indeed on motorways with L plates I can legally tow 1100kgs with overrun brakes on my 90 without the need for b+e.

Anything above 1100kg plated mam of trailer then I need L plates and a passenger for instruction. They can not Make you pay someone to train you you are entitled to train yourself with a willing passenger aslong as you inform your insurer of such requirements.
