Do I sell me 200 tdi H plate landy which has not moved in about 3 months and is now declared SORN or do I keep it and start a rebuild job?
It was MOT'D last year and had a bit of work done (nowt serious) and has only done approx 1000 miles since. i have a garage but its full of family stuff. I would really love to build me own landy but space and time restrictions make it a bit difficult not to mention cash.
Her indoors reckons I should get rid :( but I dunt wanna but dont really have the time

That is some dilemma..:(
A dilemma that sucks. if you sell it you will inevitably regret it. if you start a rebuild it will invarably require cash:frusty:
I say rebuild, add a bit more to the credit card and give yourself somthing to do till work comes again, thick'n'fast and then you cant rest as you got a credit card bill to pay!:D
Sensible option is sell but there is no buyers as we all skint! rebuild, then when things pick up you can sell it and get top dollar:D

if there is nowt wrong with it, then tax it and use it. then when you'e broken it you'll have a reason for the rebuild:crazy:

why does it need a rebuild? do what is required to pass the MOT and use it. If your in a dilemma over a rebuild then keep it and mull it over for a bit. You could always use it as a rolling rebuild kind of thing. Thats what im doing with the lightweight, replacing bits here and there but not a ground up restoration (got to get it past an MOT 1st :D).

I would hang onto it. besides, no one will buy it now with the country in a state.

Just dae what ah dae, run it and fix it when it's fecked! If ye're givin' it away tae a guid home... ah'll take it;):p:D:D:D

wish i had the time to run it! been in me van since january and done nearly 50000 miles so fat which dunt leave alot of time for landy drivin
