it's setted on "only disarm with key if locked with key" mode and first it was immobilised cos u attempted to open the car with the key albeit it was locked with the fob.....as said above....put new battery in the fob(or use the second one) and try then.......BUT....if u've made many attempts to disarm it without the fob then u might have to use the EKA code(just if no joy with the fob).

Problem sorted!! The AA have towed her away from the overhead telephone cables and the car strated straight away.
Thank you both for swift response, kind regards,Will :).

what is it with interferance!!??

me old man runs a d2 and that conked out in crossleys knackers yard after dumping a trailer load of workshop scrap. (only cos he wanted to use the trailer)

turns out, its the interfearance from the magnet cranes, and where he parked (under the bridge) concentrated the magnetic fields somehow.

he aint the first it happend to, the lads just hitched him to a forklift and dragged him out. no probs after that.

:confused::confused::confused:

glad your up and running again, and i will ring you!......

There was a Land Rover recall for the early D2 and the P38 because of this known problem.
