only some lt77s are fitted with oil cooler drillings ,some can be drilled through if they have the casting inside ,not all do ,having a cooler isnt essential unless its doing a lot of motorway work
It's a bit strange, on closer inspection it has drilled and tapped holes for the cooler plate to fit on, but no machined surface for the ports to match up to. The transfer box is missing a switch on the passenger side that my old one had. Could it be a temperature switch?
The new gearbox is leaking. Bugger. It appears to be leaking from the really big vertical bolt at the back of the box -it looks like it has a rubber gasket. What does this bolt hold in place? Is this a common place for the LT-77 to leak from?
