Many thanks for your advice.
I actually got to the bottom of the problem, not sure if I have a permanent fix but touch wood.
I found a post on another Range Rover site and it made a mention of the small block the actual indicator arm goes into behind and next to steering wheel column.
That post confirmed that after opening up this block and cleaning between a nylon cover and small PCB it sorted their problem (Right indicator permanently on).
I did not have the tools to open this block up but I took cowling/s off around the steering wheel and noticed this 'block' has a connector at the back with the wires leading into it. When making sure the connector was right in there was a short stop to the light flashing. I then took the wires leading into connector and pushed them back a bit towords the back of the S.wheel and the problem stopped and has not come back.
You can probably tell I'm not too technical but will be glad to know I managed to solve the Kripton factor test of puting the cowling bits back together where I could have done with another 2 hands.
Thanks for taking the time to reply and hope this helps anyone if they have the same problem.
Another problem I have is the Alarm warning beeps a comes up on dash display when I put in key. It is very intermittent but have noticed however it is very much worse after I sorted this problem, so is this another wire problem but going into the ignition key unit that I made worse taking off and refitting the cowling?
Will I take it off to see if I can sort it? Nah !!
thanks again
