Hi can anyone give me some advice. 3 months ago we were involved in a passenger side front smash pretty bad it cost insurance £7000 well we've had it back about 6 weeks and now today the indicators are intermittant and hubby just went to lock care and mirrors are turning in but the doors are not locked the alarm goes off if you open them. Not tried the doors before after locking just assumed it was locked , tried ringing insurance but they are now closed got 5 year guarantee on repairs but they not open till Monday.its a 2006 freelander 2

I've noticed mine has done this as well. I always double lock it now.

Is it all doors not locking or only one (or even the one side only)

What about the tailgate?

None of them lock but if you leave it 5 mins it locks itself and is ok then

That doesn't make sense!

I would suggest taking it back to Bodyshop and inform them of the problems and ask them to determine if it's something they've done (or not done) whichever turns out to be the case

Yes your right ignition is playing up now as well rang them and surprise surprise we got to get a landrover report before they will touch it I tried explains hubby got prostate cancer and we got numerous appointments every week and need a reliable car , they did offer us a car but if it turns out to be nothing to do with accident then we got to pay for recovery costs plus the hire cost of car so stuck between a rock and a hard place.

UPDATE :- I can't believe it but it was dirt in key fob hubby took it apart cleaned it and fingers crossed not had any problems for over a week
