no probs i wouldn't stand in the way of a pub crawl whats the rules on recovery points? i've got a pair of jates on the rear but what with the steering guard ont' front i cant get owt on there other than the original towing eye, i'm gonna see if i can weld something to guard but doesn't look too hopeful

no rules - no points - no recovery .
I only have the standard towing eyes ont front and a tow bal on the rear.
No-one needed towing last weekend.

should be ok then, i've a spare front eye so might put one each side to help out a bit

Depending on number of difficult lanes, my intention is to do easy lanes until lunch time, then do a couple of difficult lanes in which those who dont want to do them, can act as fotogrificators or,maybe, passengers? and then some more lanes on the way North.
The number of lanes in the afternoon depends on how many difficult ones Redwing can find, any damage and time.

had lunch there today. they dont do chippies tho. Just posh potato wedgies - but they are a bit uncomfortable .

It is tricky - risk of body damage is quite likely (dented panels and doors - broken mirrors etc) but not a definate winch jobby.
