FFS I can't believe that it's really anything other that it's jammed and just needs freeing with a nudge in the right place :confused:
if only i knew the right place to nudge it:mad: was pushing shuvving and swearing at it for over an hr today..

dont wanna just tow it forward and risk fooking it up even more

3 of us couldnt push it backwards

I have an old LT77 gearbox just lying around doing nowt. Been under a cover for a couple of years. But as far as I know it's still ok If your gearbox is mullered. You're welcome to have it

thanks joe..but no doubt if it was fooked then the clutch would also need doin while its apart and im totally skinto..but i will definately bear your kind offer in mind..thanks

the only thing we havent done is tug it forward as its stuck in reverse i dont think its a good idea

Im no eggspurt but a good tug will either sort it or ruin it... spare gearbox from pikey if needed what you got to lose by tuggin the fooker.

Or am I talkin a load of ****e :(

shirley do the easy bits first?

remove wading plugs n have a look.
taake out t box & gbox filler plugs. look at state of oil.
have a look at linkage - its not unusual to find it caked in mud.

then report back

Drop the props, roll it forwards, put props on, tug it back.

So long as I pass me mot this week I can stop by next weekend and give yous a hand
im gonna have anuvver go tomoro night theres about 1ft space behind upto the wall

me mates gonna bring his disco over were gonna try and put something between his bumper and mine and try and push it back just the tad and see what it does:(

the transer linkage will move left to right but not up or down in hi or low, will check state of oils or salisbury plain mud tomoro night

If you don't mind slumming it I've got spare seats in a P38. I could pick you up and return you home and could do with all the help that I could get.
thats bloody decent of ya:5bcheers2: i certainly would still like to make the day..i just hope n pray its a cheap fix, everything comes at the wrong bloody time

have yu got a good pressure washer? mite be the lesser of 2 evils to climb under and pressure wash all the linkage. Maybe (worst case) to pressure wash up the wading plug hole into the clutch area.
