When I do a recce trip (think I've done 11 now) it's about 160 miles round trip from my front door, so from Beasties field the round trip will certainly be not less than 120 miles ;)

Boomer...do you want us to pm you with route preference and vehicle , cb etc or are you doing that on the day :confused:
 
Ability of driver:

Anybody who is new to this or is unsure about the capabilities of either themselves or their vehicle MUST let us know beforehand so we can make allowances for this.
There is no shame in admitting that you are a little green around the edges or unsure, we are all in this together and will help each other where necessary, there is no place for inexperienced bravado which could lead to an accident or worse still injuring other participants of the trip.

**** ...looks like i'll be going round the car park on me own again then...:(:D
 
Hey guys. Hate to say this but doesn't look like i'll be on this one after all.
Been going hell for leather to try and get this landy so i'm confident in her on the run, but truth of the matter is i'm so near yet so far. Still got issues and am now nearly skint following having spent a further £700 on her in last couple weeks having already spent in excess of £1200 since i brought her.
I'm committed to sorting her but my pocket holes have gotten to big and i basically have no faith that she won't let me down and really can't stretch to cost of trip ontop of carrying on with her.
Sorry, but will have to aim for the next one i guess.

yeh, i was looking forward to it also but mrs wouldn't have made it now due to childminding issues anyhow.
have a family issue looming also which might be conflicting near dates although i think i'll be ok on that.. going as ballast might be an option but cant say for sure until nearer the time, but would be nice.
 
When it comes to groups I am a total novice, my car is bog standard and I don't have as much as a tow hook fitted.

think it should be worked out before and left to the day to tell peeps as they arrive so peeps have no choice or we will spend all morning shuffleing groups to sort it out, could reduce it to playground level with every one stood in line waiting to be picked, but as usual the fat spotty one will be left till last :rolleyes:
