Ive jist got under and greased my UJs and they were a little on the dry side. So get under yours and grease away. For the sake of a 5 min job can save you some dosh on UJ failure.
Hmmm oddly same thing happened here too. Maybe we could end drought by greasing UJs in foreign climes?Did mine today as well.
Then it rained.
I don't think the two are related.
This is a good point, my disco started the whine of a dry uj other day; was too old and didn't have a grease nipple on it, was gana buy a new one, week later the clonk of doom appeared and the uj bearings had shattered so now I'm stuck till part arrives tomorrow haha. Should have ordered sooner
Pretty much. I thought it'd last abit longer hahaSorry, but stupid springs to mind............LOL.......
Cheers
I also topped up the oil level in my rear axle and added screen wash.
I tend to just stick with oil in my diff?
Guess yours must be real clean with the screen wash in there
More grease. Them rain shall cometh.Lol, greased mine today. No rain yet tho.
Greased mine last week .... but it's a Disco 2.
Does that count?
Mine didn't either the origional factory spec ones don't have them. I swapped mine for grease able ones glad I did both as the "okay" one was also cracked.in there wisdom there arnt any grease nipples on mine
Genius. What a startling design flaw.
