Ive been looking at gps and summat to run mem map but i aint got a clue what im looking for/at :confused: any pointers? :)

not if you buy one with a built in reciever ................... the card slot is for the downloaded card with memory map on it so you can remove the card place in pc or lappy then load up your route , simples :D

Got a laptop? just get a usb gps (bout £40-£50 for a decent one delivered), can get them IP 'whatever' rated, just mount the laptop (ya can get some plasic mounts onlines, google it) or put it on the centre seat. I'm making a bracket on the dash to hold a touchscreen tablet running mem map with gps on the outside of the roof. Accurate to 1m
 
OK, thought it was sorry, but if you have a phone with GPS should be ok. I`ve been looking at Memory Map and it`ll work on IPhone. I`ve got the Galaxy so will do some homework on that!
