Just starting to clean up a 110 pick up. This whole thread is superb.
Really stoked about getting going at it now. Progress is going to be a little slower than yours however.
Well it's been a while since I did anything with my 110. My paint job has been scraped up since I painted it and I'm undecided if I'll rub it down in my garage and spray it myself (a proper job this time) or leave it as the rat look. If I do strip back to metal and respray then I'm thinking about a colour change so it doesn't look too military. Also thought I would treat myself to some bigger rims and tyres. Now I think next on the list is some wider arches lol
Old tyres are 265 75 16 BFG KM2 muds on 7" rim. They are awesome on the road and off road. Now they actually hardly covered any distance in the past few years I bought them. Nothing wrong with them and Ill probably just keep them for spares. New ones are 305 70 16 on 10" rim. They are Mikey Thompson MTZ. Obvioulsy I need to wash the blue stuff off the tyres.
Lol. I didn't want to go too big because of the disco transfer box. I've just ordered some flat dog arches. Hopefully they will turn up before I go back to work so I can fit them.
That amount of wheel protrusion , could end up causing you problems with the law , as the tread is defo not covered , are you thinking of fitting extended arches ? or is that what flat dog are ?

I like the stance of 110's with the rear slightly higher. It seems they are like this as stock but I wanted a little more height on the rear so fitted some 20mm spring spacers today just to the rear. 20mm doesnt sound like much but its enough to give that subtle stance that I love. My wider arches still havent turned up (not supprising due to Christmas/new year shut down everywhere). I've also ordered a galvanized 3 piece steering guard with integrated recovery points which will be fitted as soon as it arrives. I just hope this weather dries up as my neighbors probably think I'm crazy working on my drive in the rain.
