A couple more photos of the back. Been out this morning with some bungee cord and a couple of zip ties to tighten it up a bit around the bottom in the back.

Firstly.. thats a really nice looking 110... The 200tdi makes a hell of s difference..mine (110 hard top) was conerted when I got it.. but I've driven a friends N/a and its like chalk/cheese!
Secondly a question.. I've been thinking of fitting a rad haz kit to help with insulation and noise (I'm slowely freezing and goin deaf.. lol),, does it actually help a great deal or as mines a hardtop would I better off with the tried and tested foil/bubble type insulation and then carpet,,?
 
Elefantman - Im not sure how much difference it makes to noise. My 110 (being an ex mod vehichle) has absolutley no sound proofing. It does make it a bit quieter. I cant hear the canvas roof flapping around so much any more. It has made a big difference to the heat inside. It seems to have stopped the drafts coming in just behind the driver and passenger seats. Ive been using it this weekend in temps around 2-3c and its just as warm as my old hard top 90 now. For £25 on ebay its worth a shot. Looks pretty cool too in my opinion.

I'll see how well it fits to a hard top 110! I've actually got side windows in the front half so figure I can roll the front sides up like blinds...
I've also ordered some well known anti vibration/sound proofing pads.. so it'll get some of these plastered on the underside of the roof in an attempt to reduce the "drumming"... and then the radhaz to help with the cold.
 
Hey mate, is it possible next time you have the soft top off you take some photos of how the canvas seals around the windscreen and also how the metal work around the front doors works. Can't buy soft top parts here in NZ for these so will have to make my own.

Hi Rappy - Sorry i doubt ill be taking the roof of until atleast the summer. Its going to be a while. Can you just order from one of the exmoor distributers and have it delivered?
 
Yeah think i might have to. It might work out being the best option rather than stuffing around trying to make my own. Nice pics in the mud by the way
 
Hi. I have ex mod too I noticed one of the rear nas lights bulb has gone. How do u get the damn thing off ? Unscrew ???

They aren't NAS lights. They just unscrew. I took all mine off when I painted it. Some were a bit stiff
 
Many thanks. I finally got them off. Cor they were tight !! One missing bulb. No big deal. I am gonba do mine like yours. NATO green. I will start a new threat when I start on it.

Will link your page. Question. Those sliding windows on the doors. Does yours leak water in when it rains ? It there a rubber seal of some sort ?? Mine leaks
 
No the windows don't leak. They have rubber seals between the top and bottom of the doors i guess to stop this.

And the latest mod this weekend. Pretty small but useful -

A cheap LED light from maplins zip tied to the roll bar - It give a lot of light off actually - plenty to help me see around the cab in the dark - Need to tim the excess on the zip ties next time i go out with some snips.

Good idea about led light. I need one for mine too. Could u do me a favour. Take a pic of your door window rubber seal ? So I can then tell if mine is missing etc
