That route in reverse if that makes sense?

Start at the hardest part first ;)

THat way we have all day to effect recovery and fix all our just half shafts!

Maybe we should drive down that lane the then way lol

Although seriously, some extra traction mats would get us up I think

I bought waffle boards and have been busily fitting the second alternator on my Disco so I've got my winch up to 100% power :D:cool:

OK gents, doesn't look like I'll get the 90 back until next week and I am not comfortable blasting her about and going off roading for a couple of weeks until I've done a few miles in her and checked everything is AOK.

So again I am going to decline the invitation :( @Dieseldog will just have to wait a little longer to "hear that V8 burbling along the green and pleasant lanes of Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire" ! :D

Not sure if I'll get another invite

Yeah was going to suggest doing it in reverse if you meant the whole route, that way we get to cover some new ground too, could use Sainsburys at Chichester as a meeting point maybe?
Was saving pennies for a winch but I've just had to replace my phone so that's set me back a bit!
Sorry to hear that capo but at least you're making progress, you're in newhaven right? We could always have a 'breaking in' afternoon on a few of the more gentle lanes locally in June sometime.

:(:(:( indeed, in fact I'm a tiny bit  but will remain
Spoke today; engine, autobox, cooler, rad etc are in but with Phil on hols it's the two of them and a helper, and business is brisk so they can only do mine when missing parts have arrived and not on another job. I said that I thought we now had everything but of course it's things like water and air hoses, oil lines and unions, wiring, clips etc. The EFi loom was cut so that has to be repaired too. Realistically he said if he only worked on the Landy it'd be about another week's work to get her finished, tested and ready to sign off, but in reality it'll probably be at least another two to three weeks

If she's ready by then...... There are some nice mostly gentle lanes around here, Lewes, and Eastbourne way.

Hey ho; I've read enough forum threads to realise a conversions will always take twice as long and cost twice as much as planned  MrsC says it'll be worth it in the end :D

Sainsbugs @ 09:30/10:00?

@capo there are are at least 52 weekends in a year, for sure we are all going to get together on one of them

Perhaps the next one after this @DaveyGTi could guide us round his neck of the woods?

I quite fancy East Sussex for a jolly out.

yeah I'm still in, have you managed to reverse the gpx file for the route or do you want me to upload a reversed version?

That I am gonna have to leave to you.

Was gonna try to have a go tonight but dinner over ran at mums, tomorrow I'm with Daft in Basingstoke helping him with his Disco project and don't think I trust myself to learn how to on Saturday ready for Sunday

Probably channel 19 then find a quiet band that suits us.

@flat
I know you down south of me ;)
Do you use GPX for your routes?

Or would any others have the GPX file for Sunday so I can see what I'm missing

I will send GPX in return for you to see if these are any good
Thanks
