Ah that's good news, was starting to worry there was something wrong with mine!
Complicated little thing has AM/FM on UK and EU bandwidths, think I've got it sorted now tho :)

Just need to finish getting the cables tidy from the fitting of my relay boxes and we're good to go again :)

Been a while guys, hope you've all been having a good summer, I'm toying with the idea of heading out over bank holiday, just something low key, I want to drive the 4 lanes on the Pevensey levels and maybe take in a couple of other lanes in the area, Jevington maybe and the old coach road, there is also a lane near Rye I want to drive which we could tie in somehow, I know the Pevensey lanes are likely to be a bit muddy even after the dry weather so it would be good to have some other trucks along!

Sorry mate, usually bang up for a day out laning, but I will be busily rebuilding the boot floor and rear wheel arches on my Discovery while I have mandatory time off from work and I can only pray that I've managed to finish decorating the nursery by the weekend!

And, as usual, I won't be attending  as the 90 is still undergoing its V8 auto conversion; actually that bit is done and working :) but they found some rear chassis rot and a couple of things to be fixed for the moT at the end of the month. Best to get it all done and out of the way but it means I won't get the Landy back before the Bank Holiday now :( Have a great time if you go, near me too...damn!

Yeah Monday would be fine for me I think, there is a snack van on the A269 where it crosses Waller's Haven between Boreham Street and Ninfield (TQ 676 120) could make a good meeting point.
Sorry to hear you others can't make it, good luck with your various endeavours, I'm sure you'd much rather be Laning!

So what say you @flat are you around tomorrow?

Sorry, was going to message, have got my sisters-in-laws kids for the weekend so she can go to Notting Hill carnival (why you would want to do that I don’t know!!) so I am out I am afraid :/ sorry

No worries mate. No I'm not sure that would be my cup of tea either, London is hard work at the best of times let alone in the middle of Notting Hill Carnival!

Well you didn't miss much, I opted not to do the marsh lanes on my own and went out around Tenterden with the missus, mostly taking in a few lanes I tackled in Feb 2017, not very challenging then with mud and thick ice but they've all been type 1'd now, only bit of excitement was chopping up a fallen tree so I could get through!

Well my D1 is still in tact but I did at least finish the decorating and start putting the cot and chest of drawers together

Glad you had fun though, if you want to do some Kent lanes in a few weeks I should have my old bus done by then :)

Well I'm tied up for most of September with various things but I might be free the last weekend, that would be our last chance to do either the Sussex lanes or anything interesting in Kent before they all close over the winter

yeah apologies, after mid september my weekends free up a bit and we can do some more marshy stuff then, perhaps east sussex into kent.
I am thinking of getting trailwise2 i think and using it on my ipad

22/23rd would be a good weekend, before the winter closures?
