Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked before but did search, anyway have 94 D1 3.9V8, runs well for 150kms and then misfires under load, idles ok, won't rev cleanly, missfires, turn engine off and restart, roars off up the road as if nothing has happen. After about another 50kms or so it'll do it again, stop and restart engine and its all go again as if nothing was wrong.
Has new distributor, lucus rotor, leads and plugs, replaced fuel filter. Whats next?

use genuine dealer iginition parts not lucas ones is the dissy one with the external amp has it been fitted the correct way round?
has it got an alarm? two button remote possible the spider is faulty or worn pump

Sounds like what happened to me when my tps was playing up.

Check AFM then ECU.
